Rick joined A.C.G. Associates with a background in corporate finance and accounting. A 1978 graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Rick received a BS degree in Accounting. In 1987, he was awarded a Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford. Rick was elected President of A.C.G. Associates, Inc. in 1994.
Prior to joining the company, Rick held positions with two Hartford-area firms, the accounting firm of Blum Shapiro & Co., P.C. of West Hartford and an Avon-based computer services company where Rick served as Vice President, Administration and Treasurer. In this position Rick had direct responsibility for all accounting, finance and tax related matters for the $10 million service corporation. In addition , Rick managed the technical administrative matters pertaining to the Company's employee benefit programs which included a 401(k) Plan and Pension Plan.
Rick is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accounts and the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts.
